However, after Brio graduated Occult school early, he oddly opted to attent an ancient, if mundane, university. Though they were already engaged, Brio and Harper had a very sudden wedding once they found out about an unplanned pregnancy; this gave Brio pause; did he really want to watch Harper, and then his children, die? And then his sister and cousins? He decided to leave it up to genetics and, to his relief, Elias was born human. He went through several painful rituals to be rid of his darkness, which put a chasm in his and his parents' relationship. Biography: A city girl who, through an irresistable, insatiable urge, is drawn to Glimmerbrook. She discovers a cousin and uncovers her ancestry of powerful spellcasters, the Gilliam bloodline, and awakens her own magic. Her own mother fled from Glimmerbrook as a teen, unable to cope with the pressures and not having the power or inclination to live up to their lofty expectations. She had Louise young.
After Louise moved back to Glimmerbrook and discovered her ancestry and power, she threw herself into as much study as she could. She made it as a florist on the side, finding fascination with magical plants, herbs, and potions, and met Morgyn Ember whilst training. They had a short lived and firey relationship, but it was the Sage of Practical magic, Simeon, who she found love with. They had three children and lived happily until his death. She rekindled her relationship with Morgyn, even if yet again it was doomed to work out, but they did have a child together, Rosemary. Unfortunately, Morgyn died not too long after. Eventually, in early retirement, she settled down with a fellow spellcaster named Jayceon until their deaths.

Biography: Marlowe had always been attracted to the occult. Even as a child, he could not resist the allure; it was something beyond a fleeting interest, something drawing him to it. He started to actively persue this forbidden knowledge as a teen and, eventually, his mother admitted they had ancient Spellcasting ancestors. She had her own mild power, after years of meditation and self-guided learning, but it seemed Marlowe had something more.
His searching eventually lead him to a library in Windenburg, where a small society of Spellcasters resided. After much, much study and persuation, he was permitted to join. With a 'jump-start' from their leader, Evangelina, his power manifested.
There was also another teen there. A girl with blue skin, who had a terrible chip on her shoulder. To say he immediately fell in love with Lailah Slaughter was an understatement. She remained aloof and was barely interested in a friendship. In time, though, a beautiful friendship, and then relationship, blossomed.
Upon their move to Ravenwood, Marlowe continued to hone his spiritual, medium, powers. He eventually became one of Grim's Reapers, blessed with His eyes. Only their youngest daughter, Regina, inherited them.Occult Types: spellcaster

They quickly became close friends, as he helped her adjust to live in the sleepy town. However, after a night out, one drunken thing lead to another and some time later, Marion gave birth to their son, Marlowe. Though their friendship suffered with uncertainty, feelings unspoken, they co-parented well.
It was after that she gave birth to her second child, Alina, that Reid finally cracked and confessed his love for her. She reciprocated and they married soon after. Life was fantastic.

However, he was the apprentice of the current, and ailing, Untamed Sage who replaced Morgyn - his wife's grandfather. They spent their life between Glimmerbrook and the Magic Realm, as pillars of the spellcasting community.
